The resort is located right on Mandrem beach and we were upgraded to a beach facing room on the first floor. The river facing rooms on the other side are very nice too. We could just walk down to the excellent clean beach, it is a wide expanse of white sand which was mostly empty and the lovely warm water stays shallow for a long way in. Liked that there was a security person at the beach entrance who logged us in and out with our room number, very safe. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped. Good shower and toiletries, beach towels are provided. Airconditioning worked well to keep out the heat and humidity. The big balcony was great to sit out with a drink or a coffee. The pool is 4 feet with a shallow kids area, big enough to swim around in with sun loungers on one side. There is a parking space for scooters right outside the main gate. Breakfast is excellent and open upto 12 noon which was very nice. We really enjoyed the food and drinks here and quantities are generous. The staff at the resort are exceptional. Right from the person who greeted us at the gate and got our bags, the smiling reception people to the attentive restaurant staff, the cleaning staff to room service, everyone was always efficient and courteous and always smiling. The new GOX airport is closer to the resort, book a taxi at the airport when you arrive and ask the hotel to book your return taxi back. There are shops and scooter hire outside. A few restaurants along the beach or you can ride around and explore. This is the perfect place for a relaxing couples retreat. We will be back.

We had a wonderful stay at the Mandrem Beach Resort that truly deserves all the accolades for offering a great experience. Nestled away in a serene corner of Goa, this very private resort provides the perfect getaway with its personalized touch that made our holiday simply unforgettable. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the beautiful and clean beach, boasting a kilometer-long oceanfront stretch. Whether it was early morning walks or evening sunsets, the beach provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation and rejuvenation. For anyone looking to escape the city and connect with nature, this resort is truly ideal. The culinary experience at the resort was exceptional, with a very good selection of food ranging from Western to Indian dishes. The Goan food was particularly tasty, offering a delightful dive into the local cuisine. Each meal was impeccably prepared, reflecting the care and expertise of the kitchen staff. The excellence of the Resort is embodied in its staff, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was outstanding. Special thanks to Zeenal, Villroy, Gurunath, Pundalik, Lynel, and of course, Chef Viraj, whose warm hospitality and attentive service truly made our holiday experience amazing. Overall, Mandrem Beach Resort is a hidden gem for those seeking peace and tranquility. It’s a place we wholeheartedly recommend and where we’ll definitely return on our next visit to Goa.

The resort was in a peaceful location. Interestingly, unlike most other resorts, this had an unusual approach. There is no big driveway for cars to park and bags to be whisked to your rooms. You get off at the beginning of a path (it's a good idea to let the resort staff know precisely when you are arriving so the bell boys can wait for you in the parking area and help with luggage) and then walk to the resort, passing several other resorts, private houses and other business establishments. The resort is close to Mandrem Beach (a short walk of 100 meters). Several nice restaurants are nearby; thus, you won't rely only on the resort for food. Dunes was our favourite. We found Prana too showy and expensive. We did not try Artjuna as it had a strange seafood and sandwich-only menu, but we heard good things about it. The resort has a small pool with separate areas for kids. The pool was well-maintained, and we enjoyed using it. There are many shops selling the usual Goa knick-knacks and touristy stuff for those inclined. Breakfast was nice, with exemplary service. Zeenal and her colleagues were great in the restaurant. Kashmira, Vishweta, Ajay and Kanchan were also very nice.

An initial stay of 3 nights turned into 3 weeks, making Mandrem Beach Resort our home away from home in Goa. We first chose it for the location and quality, but it went beyond that. The food was delicious and it was a great experience to try some of the Goan dishes. But above all it was the kindness, helpful mindset and genuine friendliness of the staff that made all the difference. It started with the heartfelt greeting from the security guard at the entrance and on the beach side. In the reception Vishweta, Saurav, Kashmira, Rajashree and the others were always very helpful and friendly. Our meals were made better by the friendliness and helpfulness of Shaun, Gurunath, Rushikesh, Zeenal, Figo, Abhijit, Puja and Mario. The laundry service was excellent with a special thank you to Vishaka. Last but not least our dear friends at the pool Bejami and Ajay who always welcomed us with a smile.

We stayed at Madrem Beach Resort for nine days and we're very happy we chose this resort. The resort itself is very charming and well maintained. The staff is fabulous and always willing to help. The breakfast is a mix of international and Indian cuisine. Everyone will find something delicious to eat. Enjoy dinner on the hill with the ocean waves in the background. There is also a juice bar in the afternoon. The biggest thank you goes to Zeenal who made our dining experience exceptional. You can definitely rely on her recommendations. The amenities do not disappoint. The pool area is very nice and relaxing even though there are only 4 sun loungers. There is direct access to the beach, which is the quietest in the area. The surrounding beaches are quite crowded.
